As we know that’s Lesson study has been developed by Japan for a hundreds years and now spraying around the world. That was one of the multi level approach to repair the learning quality. Lesson study that developed by CRICED since 2004 is the lesson study for mathematics education and special needed education. But now it’s start to try in the other subject.

The base component in lesson study is teamwork. By that component there are some advantage such as : to increase the teacher proffessionalism, to increase the leraning quality, to develop the student potency and to serve the studying needs for student, to develop the learning aids, etc. Cooperation that developed based on teacher do the reflection and communicate the process and the result of learning. So, lesson study can be called as an activity to repair the learning from teacher.

In other hands, we had a strong law to develop education for a special needed student. Likes what said in law number 22 years 2003, about the national education system pasal 32 ayat 1 that said the special education is an education for student that’s has a problem level to follow the learning process because body, emotional, menthal, society different or had a smart potential or special ability. Second, special serve education is an education for the student in culture people or had a disaster.

Remember that the ability, potency and problems of the student special need is diversity, so it’s logic if the developing learning needs to pay attention by us. In the relation with that problem, lesson study suggest a medium and long term solution to get’s a mathematic learning that related to the characteristic of student with special needs.

Ebbut and Straker (1995) definited mathematics in school including for student with the special needs not just as knowledge but as a creativity and social activity that gives they opportunity to find the pattern or relation between one concept to the other, try to solve the mathematic problems and communicated the result to the other friend or teacher. Some problem in studying mathematic for the student with special need like what happened when they learn the other subject that related with mathematic, remembered some definition or mathematics procedure, search relation and use mathematics. The other problems related to the body or the other problem that can be come from the probability they can’t read well, didn’t understand the symbol, can’t be concert or focus and can’t control them self.

To answer that problem we can use the lesson study. Its support by Torey Hayden opinion. He thought that teacher needs to focus in the main thing, use the simple and clear ways or strategy, always give and plan the help, learning based on context and related it to the real thing, done repeatly. And this strategy can be realized by using lesson study.
